In the fall of 1998, Timberghost opened its doors to a few lucky whitetail enthusiasts. Since inception, every decision made has ensured every hunter that visits has the opportunity to share a unique, truly authentic experience chasing monster Midwestern whitetails.

With old agricultural fields that have been reclaimed by vast sanctuaries of 6-foot-tall native prairie grasses broken up by an endless maze of wooded hollows that fall hundreds of feet into one of the many wandering creek bottoms throughout, Timberghost is situated in an ideal whitetail paradise for the seasoned whitetail hunter to spend his time chasing monster whitetail deer. While our focus is on managing the habitat and an incredible whitetail herd most of the year, during season we are focused on making sure our guests have the hunting experience of a lifetime.
A lodge as welcoming as the land it is built on. The lodge and the staff are not the main reason you come to Timberghost, but from the moment you roll through the entrance life as you know it changes.
