Austin McMahon is no stranger to the outdoors. The very first deer he harvested was a whitetail at the age of seven, this started his love for chasing big game. Growing up on the family ranch in Central Washington, he spent his early years combing the Washington Mountains on the hunt for massive mule deer. Austin has hunted extensively around the globe. He worked as an Apprentice Professional Hunter in Mozambique, Africa last year, specializing in dangerous game. He has been guiding professionally for 5 years now, and greatly enjoys the challenge of giving his clients the hunt of a lifetime. In the off season, Austin travels to Alaska to fish commercially on the Bering Sea. Although raised in the North, Austin’s years spent guiding hunts in Southwest Texas has given him the gift of true Southern hospitality, which shows in the detail and effort he puts into his clients’ hunting experiences.
